The Ripple Archives

This project is meant to document the lives and experiences of people within the LGBTQ communities to create an archive of individual and group oil portrait paintings to be seen as a present day historical archive project. Growing up, we’re taught to look up to role models, icons, and celebrities for inspiration; however, those around us are inspirational, disrupters, and agents of change within the localized and regional communities. We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For.

Profits from this project are split 50/50 between the artist and portrait subject to either keep for personal use, advance their own projects, or to donate to a QTBIPOC led organization working to address an issue they care about.
