About Lyss:

I am a queer, self and community taught artist inspired to create by my daily work as a social worker, the community around me, and my nightly dreams. I aim to use art as an agent for social change and mutual aid to share in profits with community members up to good trouble. My love for portraits and realism is met with my own spin on surrealism and expression, and with my lived experience of depression and anxiety, my art uses a lens to explore the contradicting pain and beauty in the human experience.
